L.A state-of-the-art radar being developed for the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas will be integrated into the fighter aircraft by March 2005. The radar known as the multi-mode radar is being considered by India's Electronic Research Development Establishment and Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and Israel's Elta Systems.
The radar will be fitted onto seven Limited Series Production (LSP) being manufactured by HAl.
